Manufactured 1860 through 1880's. Six shot 7mm Pinfire pepperbox with folding trigger. Double action operation, blue finished frame, and barrel cluster. Smooth walnut grips with nickel silver escutcheon. Small concealed screw in cartridge ejector in butt. Housed in a period form fitted pipe type case with blue satin and velvet lining. These petite pocket pistols were considerably more powerful than the American small frame guns of day and were frequently encountered in Western Europe. CONDITION: Very good with over 90% blue finish remaining on barrel cluster. Frame finish has flaked with 20% remaining. Action operates smoothly and properly. Bores are very good. Exterior of case is very good while interior has deteriorated on upper half. TDW
