London 1888 Gibson & Langman, with an urn form body chased with scrolling foliage on a matted ground around a large reserve engraved "Colombo Gymkhana Club October Skye Meeting", the rear reserve engraved with the crest of a Wyvern with motto below, the stem with a knob set with four cast and chased boars' heads, the handles with double scrolls on each side of stylized foliage, the low domed lid with a cast winged figure of Victory holding laurel wreaths. There is a slight unevenness to stem. 29" tall. Weight 134.85 ozt. (925/1000). From the Ray Bentley Collection.
