Constructed from French Model 1847 socket bayonets a pair of three candle candelabra with decorative chains and a deactivated 8mm Lebel cartridge. Standing 16 inches tall with a width of 8 inches. These handcrafted socket bayonets have been forged into freestanding sconces. The pair are identical and retain their original French proof marks. The clock is constructed of a 105mm steel projectile with bronze rotating band. Fitted with a period key wind clock. The projectile is suspended by four 1847 French bayonets with decorative cupola tops with small iron pennants. CONDITION: All three pieces have attained a very pleasant and even toned patina. The clock is not functioning and the glass face is missing. The candelabra are very good and stable. The entire set is very complete and I have personally never seen a more complete set of these military art set offered for sale. TDW
