Third Reich NSFK "Flying Korps" other ranks Kepi in a blue gray wool with a four inch area on the right false flap of moth tracking and a hole. Golden yellow piping is undamaged, and there are four vent rivets. Era applied aluminum NSFK eagle is present. Black leather chinstrap, retained by two black painted steel buttons, exhibits very light wear with freckled black painted steel fittings. Full brown leather sweatband has moderate wear and was repaired on the left side with gray duct tape. Blue gray cotton twill head liner is marked "56" with the maker of "Clemens Wagner" in black ink. Celluoid sweatshield has several long cracks with a one inch square missing. Blue gray cotton twill liner is intact with an illegible black ink stamp. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. WZ
