Third Reich NSKK officer Kepi in a dark olive wool body with no noticeable damage. Officer silver bullion is intact, and the correctly hand applied flat wire NSKK banner and eagle are undamaged. Four black painted vent rivets are present. Black leather chinstrap, retained by two black painted steel buttons, exhibits very light wear with black painted steel fittings. The correct NSKK button is pin through the false flap. Full brown leather sweatband has light to moderate wear with two 1/4 inch cracks along the front, and the right visor edge is slightly loose. Brown oil cloth head liner is size marked "55" in silver, and and has several blurred stamps and numbers present. A one inch piece of the crown wire stiffener is visible. Brown cotton twill liner on the sides. CONDITION: Excellent plus. WZ
