(A) Model 1840 Cavalry Saber marked on the ricasso "Columbia S.C.", part of William Glazes 1852 contract for the state of South Carolina. Sword has a blade length of 36" and overall length of 41 - 3/4" overall. CONDITION: Blade is grey with scattered areas of staining and sharpening on the cutting edge. The Columbia blade marking is clear. Grip on this sword is very good and complete, all leather and wire are intact. Brass hilt exhibits patina with minor scratches. Scabbard is dark overall and solid with scattered pitting. Blade washer is present and complete. (B) US Model 1913 Patton Saber, marked on the ricasso "U.S. 13412" the reverse date illegible, steel cup guard with checkered composition grips. CONDITION: The grey blade with areas of pitting near the ricasso, guard dented. (C) Toy sword measuring 22-1/2" overall, nickle fittings, composition. Produced with no blade. DG
