NSKK Marine (Navy) visor cap in a dark blue wool with light wear and several spots of light moth tracking. The black ribbed fabric center band with only some light damage on the rear seam. A silver finished brass NSKK eagle with black highlights is loosely attached to the top. A gold bullion wreath and cockade piece with light wear is hand applied to the top and center band. The black vulkanfibre visor with machine sewn edging presents very light wear. The enlisted ranks black patent leather chin cord exhibits the usual heat damage and the black painted steel fittings are excellent. The interior is fully lined in a blue rayon with light staining. Celluloid sweatshield has a few loose threads and is marked "E. Dalluge, Hannover". The medium brown leather sweatband has light to moderate age wear and staining, and has the two initials of "H" and "T" pinned to the right side. An uncommon visor cap. CONDITION: Excellent plus. WZ
