German WWII Army (Heer) Infantry officer visor cap made in a Feldgrau wool with light soiling throughout. A dark green wool center band with no damage, and the white piping is intact with no damage, and lightly soiled. The Heer aluminum eagle, wreath, and cockade are originally applied with patina. Silver bullion chin cord is undamaged. The black vulkanfibre visor exhibits some light cracking, with the underside in a light gray crosshatch pattern, with light wear. The left corner of the visor is damaged. The interior is fully lined in a tan rayon with no visible damage and very light staining. The celluoid sweatshield is present with the maker mark of "Stirndruckfrei Deutsches Reichspatent". The medium gray leather sweatband has light staining with a quarter inch crack.
