Lot consists of: (A) 1939 Knights Cross document and folder. While the parchment document is in very good condition, a slip of paper was glued over the awardees name and an attempt to remove that slip of paper was crudely attempted. The leather folder is torn in half, both the frontispiece page and endpaper have been inked with maps of Europe. The covers red leather veneers show heavy wear and losses. (B) 2 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, with ribbons. (C) 18 year Luftwaffe Long Service medal. (D) Russia Front Medal. (E) 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class. (F) 1939 Black Wound Badge. (G) Small enameled 1914 Iron Cross. (H) Imperial German guard officer's helmet plate, retaining four mounting loops on the reverse. Measures 3-1/4" x 3-1/4", intact enamels on the face. (I) Hindenburg Cross. (J) Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure 8th Class. (K) Bullion Luftwaffe cap eagle with 3" wingspan. (L) Imperial German steel belt buckle, and brass "Gott Mit Uns" match holder. (M) German Fire Police Sleeve Eagle. Included are a number of Japanese aluminum and wood tags.
