Heer Artillery officer visor cap made in a Feldgrau wool with very light soiling and approximately a dozen moth nips on the front and rear. A dark green wool center band with no damage to the wool, and is crushed on the left side and rear. Red wool piping with moth damage on the right side and rear. The Heer silver bullion wreath is sewn to the center band, with an aluminum eagle and cockade (which is in good condition) is present. Silver bullion chin cord is undamaged. The black vulkanfibre visor exhibits light crazing throughout, with the underside in a tan crosshatch pattern, with moderate wear. The left corner of the visor is damaged. The interior is fully lined in a tan rayon with moderate staining. The celluoid sweatshield is intact with the maker mark of "Erel Sonderklasse, Standard" stamped on the head liner. The brown leather sweatband is heavily damaged, loose, and cracked with approximately 35% of it missing. CONDITION: Very good. WZ
