Luftwaffe officer visor cap made in a higher quality blue gray wool, with the only damage being a moth nip and some extremely light tracking under the eagle. A black ribbed cotton center band and silver bullion piping are in near mint condition. Near mint silver bullion eagle, wreath/ cockade, and chin cord are original to the cap. The black vulkanfibre visor presents some light wear and and crazing, with the underside in black. Very light damage from what appears to be a removed inventory tag. The interior is fully lined in an undamaged light golden-brown rayon with very light staining. The sweat shield is present and intact with a detailed "Erel Sonderklasse Extra" maker mark. The light brown leather sweatband is intact with light staining from wear, especially on the front. CONDITION: Near mint. WZ
