A fine example of a Postal Protection Leader's Dagger. The steel blade exhibits factory cross graining down it's length, with minor graying and scattered freckling. The blade is maker marked for the firm "Paul Weyersburg, Solingen". The lower cross guard plating is still bright and features an undamaged, enamel inlayed, swastika. The ebony grip is adorned with the Postal Protection Organizations nickel silver symbol. The grip shows some flaking to the wood on the lower edge near the lower cross guard. The nickel silver plated pommel nut has light dings and scrapes. The black painted scabbard has some minor paint loss near the lower chain ring and outer edges. The upper, lower, and center fitting's are nickel plated with superficial scratches throughout which do not detract from the overall appearance of the dagger. CONDITION: Overall Excellent. D.W.
