The steel blade is maker marked for the firm E.F. Hörster. The blade exhibits light graying throughout with a few areas of freckling. The nickel plated brass cross guard and pommel cap exhibit an even light patina throughout. The ebony grip has a few areas of scattered light marks. The grip's RLB emblem has damage to the enamel. The black painted steel scabbard retain approximately 60% of its original paint. The scabbards lower drag and throat fitting are plated with nickel silver and show scattered superficial marks. The scabbard retains its original leather hanger. CONDITION: Overall Excellent. D.W.
