Iconic promotional display, featuring 226 Winchester items including rimfire and centerfire handgun and rifle cartridges. Brass shotgun shells, paper shotgun shells, and sectioned, three window shotgun shells. Primer and cap tins. The hunter green background has Winchester Repeating Arms Company logo in red surrounded with other advertising in white and gold. Prominently featuring the famous A.B. Frost Vignette with two hunters, one loading his pipe, and the other smoking, sitting with their Winchester rifles leaning on the log while admiring their trophy bear in the foreground. Left side of the board has a Mallard drake in flight with its beak partially covered by a cartridge. Right side has the head of a great bull moose. Board is framed with the original quarter sawed oak frame with gold inner liner. The backside retains original label marked: “PRESENTED WITH COMPLIMENTS/OF THE/WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS COMPANY/PLEASE HANG IN A PROMINENT PLACE”. Overall size is 57" x 48 - 1/2". CONDITION: Excellent overall. Showing a few handling marks with areas of light touch-up. Graphics are bright and clean. All items are present and original to the board.
