The blade on this Partial Röhm SA Dagger is maker marked for the firm "Haenel, Suhl", and features the "Alles für Deutschland" motto, as well as a partial Ernst Röhm dedication. The blade has light freckling near the cross guard area, and appears to have been polished at one time as none of the factory cross graining can be seen along the length of the blade. The Ernst Röhm inscription was partially ground as per the orders of Adolf Hitler after Ernst Röhm's arrest and execution in 1934. The upper and lower nickel silver cross guards show little patina and few scattered marks. The reverse of the lower guard is stamped "OE" for Östereich. The walnut grip is set nicely into the recesses of the cross guards, and features a nickel silver eagle and SA roundel. Light wear can be seen on the high points of the grip The brown anodized scabbard retains most of it's original Zapon lacquer, and has developed even freckling throughout from age. A few small dents are observed on the daggers reverse side. The scabbards fittings are made of nickel silver and have a very light patina. A few small dents are observed on the upper throat fitting, and the lower drag fitting is slightly bent inward on the ball area. The scabbard features an early three piece leather hanger. CONDITION: Overall Excellent. D.W.
