The Carl Eickhorn marked blade is a reproduction Damascus steel type. The blade features a gilded motto with gilded flanking oakleaves. The nickel silver upper and lower cross guards appear to have been polished at one time. The ebony grip fits nicely into the cross guards, and features a nickel silver eagle and SS roundel. A 1/2" dent is observed above the eagles left wing. The scabbard is the anodized type with nickel silver fittings. Again the nickel fittings appear to have been polished. The scabbards lower drag fitting has a few small dents, and upper throat fitting has some green build up from interaction with the leather. The anodizing of the scabbard shows scattered light marks and freckling throughout. A black leather hanger is attached to the scabbard which utilizes nickel silver hardware. The leather adjustment tab has a small crack where it folds into the buckle. CONDITION: Overall Very Good to Excellent. D.W.
