Stevens 44 single shot rifle. 26" half octagon to round barrel chambered in .38-55. Beeches combination fold down front sight, buckhorn rear sight, and Lyman tang mounted sights. Blue with case hardened frame and loading lever. plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent with 85% thinning original blue and 85% original case colors. Bore is bright. Action is tight. Scarce little gun chambered in desirable .38-55. -MKS-
