Lot consists of (A) J.C. Higgins, FN Mauser bolt action rifle. 22" tapered round barrel, chambered in .270 Winchester. 1 piece plain, straight grain walnut stock with red-rubber recoil pad. Mounted with a vintage J.C. Higgins 2-1/2 fixed power scope. CONDITION: Near fine overall. Bore is bright. Approximately 95% original blue remaining. Stock has been cut and shortened, also has an 8 inch section broken along the belly, that has been repaired. (B) Winchester Model 94 Commemorative rifle, celebrating the 100 anniversary of the famed Model 1866. Produced in 1966. 24" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Chambered in .30-30. Plain, straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Crescent style butt. Saddle ring on left side of frame. Frame, forearm cap, and buttplate are gold plated. CONDITION: Nearly mint overall however, plated parts are showing some moderate "freckling" from storage. Balance of gun is nearly mint with 98+% factory original finishes. Complete with correct box, sleeve, and paperwork. -MKS-
