(A) Interesting Smith & Wesson model of 1917 .45 ACP revolver serial number 2326 with Factory applied * after serial number and dated under grips 5.20 indicating factory return in may of 1920. Matching serial numbers found on barrel, frame, grips and cylinder. a small CFA inside of a circle inspection is found on left rear of frame. Blue finish with 5-1/2 inch barrel and smooth walnut grips. CONDITION. Very fine as factory refinished during the period. Bore is very good with slight frosting in grooves. Action operates properly. grips are very fine. . (B) Austrian Rast Gasser revolver cal, 8mm. marked PATENT RAST GASSER WEIN' on left side of frame and has 2 piece checkered walnut grips. Single and double action operation. CONDITION, Poor with an even coating of light surface rust and bore is dark Firing pin mechanism is missing. Grips are fair with wear but no material loss. tdw
