1950 vintage Model 70 "Super Grade", serial number 163756. Restocked in the "Bench rifle" style with heavy flat forearm, and high comb cheek rest. Checkered at the wrist and forearm. Select grain walnut with rosewood forearm tip. Mounted with a vintage 16 power J.Unertl scope with micrometer adjustable mounts. 26" heavy round barrel. Rechambered in 6mm Remington. CONDITION: Excellent with 95% original blue. Bore is bright. Action is tight and crisp. Wood is excellent showing moderate, honest wear. Classic bench rifle. -MKS-
