Pre-Ban National Match Springfield M1A semi-automatic rifle with added scope, extra mag and soft case. Made in late 1987. Kreiger production stainless steel National Match profile barrel. National match front and rear sights. Military parkerized finish on the receiver, operating rod, gas system and trigger group. Commercial standard production hardwood stock with flip up buttplate. Rifle has been bedded and was not taken out of the stock during the writing of this description, in order to preserve the bedding. Rifle includes one 10 round Springfield Armory magazine, one 20 round Winchester marked USGI magazine, attached MRT "12-86" dated leather sling, Springfield Armory Marked 4-14x56 "2nd Generation" Government Model scope and mount, lock and Springfield Armory marked soft case. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with minor handling marks. Stock is excellent with minor wear. Bore has a mirror shine with crisp rifling. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent, as are the other accessories. JWA
