Lot consists of: (A) E. Whitney, New haven, Connecticut made 2nd Model Navy revolver in .36 caliber made in the 1850's and 1860's. Blued octagon barrel and receiver with case hardened loading lever. Brass trigger guard and Colt style wedge for takedown. 2-piece walnut grips. Comes with period leather flap holster. CONDITION: Blue worn on barrel and frame to a silvery patina with stain across barrel (possibly blood). Cylinder blue does not match rest of gun but is correct cylinder. Good patina on brass and good grips. Excessive wear on end of barrel (possibly from extreme use). Shootable bore with cylinder not advancing all the time otherwise good. Holster is rough but there except for the clasp. (B) E. Whitney & Son, New Haven, Connecticut made 2nd Model Navy revolver in .36 caliber made circa 1855. Blued octagon barrel and frame with case hardened loading lever, brass trigger guard and 2-piece walnut grips. Comes with period leather holster. CONDITION: Overall good with metal parts turning a silvery patina. Shootable bore with good mechanics. Holster shows use with mild cracking. DLM
