(A) Overall 9-3/4" long and 3-3/4" wide. Circa last quarter of the 19th Century. Very cool pair of early floral beaded moccasins with soft and supple brain tanned uppers and stiff parfleche soles showing obvious use as evidenced by some minor holes in the soles. Bead work is sinew sewn with some thread sewn in the construction. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Overall 10" long and 3-3/4" wide. Circa last quarter of the 19th Century. Rare pair of quilled moccasins with unusual design. Most quill work is missing, remnants of red and blue still intact. Uppers are soft and supple brain tanned hide, soles are likely cow hide. Mostly thread sewn. CONDITION: Good.
