(A) Sheath is 7 - 1/2" long and 2 - 1/2" wide. Circa last quarter of the 19th Century. The front side beaded design is classic half buffalo track and cross design on lower 2/3, upper 1/3 classic cross design. Pleasing bead colors with rare yellows, beaded hanger is broken. Early trade knife overall length is 9 - 3/8". Knife is marked in 2 lines: "Lamson & Goodnow Mfg Co", second line "Patented March 6th 1950". CONDITION: Good. (B) Sheath is 5 - 3/4" long, not including tab, and 2 - 3/8" wide. Circa Last quarter of the 19th Century. Likely a ladies sheath constructed of brain tanned hide and beaded with classic geometric design, half buffalo track and tepees. Sinew and thread sewn constructed on soft supple hide. Knife is probably not original, could be 20th century. Overall knife length is 6 - 1/4". CONDITION: Good.
