8 - 1/2" long and 2 - 3/4" wide. Circa last quarter of the 19th Century. Beautiful example with pink half buffalo track design and various other bead colors. Classic style construction of earlier 2-part sheath. Outer bead work sinew sewn on brain tanned hide around insert of likely period boot leather. Sheath has 7" beaded drop terminating with dewclaws and thimbles. Trade knife is 9 - 1/4" long. CONDITION: Good to excellent.
