Manufactured 1941.Manufactured by Mauser during World War II. Receiver is marked "41" over the chamber, with Mauser "655" waffenamt proofs on the right and a "byf" stamp on the forward toggle link. Matching numbers include the frame, locking bolt, trigger sideplate, trigger, hold open latch, safety bar, barrel, receiver, trigger bar, breechblock, firing pin, extractor receiver axle, and forward and rear toggle links. Magazine and grips are unnumbered. Complete with a contemporary marked and produced Otto Reichel leather holster stamped "eue" with waffenamt "WaA300". CONDITION: Very good as totally refinished Metal components retain bountiful amounts of the custom applied salt blue finish, showing minor wear and concentrated areas of patina. Frame number has been con-temporarily enhanced. Bright mirror bore, showing strong rifling throughout. Grips are reproduction and good, showing little wear aside from a small area at the bottom of the right grip panel. Leather holster is very good showing minor cosmetic wear and minimal wear to the stampings. Overall, a fine P.08 that was manufactured by Mauser during history's greatest conflict. tdw
