Lot consists of: (A) British proofed smoothbore transition barreled Pattern of 1853 Enfield with fixed front sight. Tower marked lock with Barnett of London makers mark. Brass trigger guard and buttplate with iron barrel bands. Walnut musket style stock. CONDITION: Overall good with cleaned wood and metal. Missing brass stock disc. Fair bore with visible rifling and good mechanics. (B) 1862 Tower dated percussion Pattern 1853 Enfield rifled musket. Crown and Tower marked lock dated 1862. Rifled barrel with 25 mark and British proof. Adjustable rear sight with fixed front. Walnut stock with brass trigger guard and buttplate and iron barrel bands. Steel ramrod. Comes with reproduction sling and muzzle plug. CONDITION: Aged patina appearance with dark bore and good mechanics. DLM
