Lot contains: (A) German WWII First Pattern Luftwaffe Dagger with a "Paul Weyersberg & Co." maker mark over a Luftwaffe proof mark of "Eagle 5". The nickel plated blade exhibits staining, freckling, moderate scattered marks, and a few nicks to the cutting edge. Nickel fittings exhibit heavy patina, with evidence of a cleaning residue in the recesses. The under side of the cross guard is stamped with "1746". The leather wire-wrapped grip has scattered marks throughout. The nickel silver scabbard fitting exhibit a heavy patina throughout with a few scattered light marks. The leather of the scabbard has scattered light marks throughout and a few small tears. The throat of the scabbard is marked with the numeral "5". The nickel silver chain exhibits the same patina as the fittings of the scabbard, and a repair to one of the chain links. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) The steel blade of the Martindale Machete exhibit very heavy wear with dark patina and scattered marks throughout. The companies crocodile logo can still be seen near the ricasso area. The guard is made of heavy patina'd brass, and the grip is made of bone and wood exhibiting heavy use. CONDITION: Overall poor. D.W.
