Montgomery Ward's sold mail order saddles starting in 1872. This saddle has a floral and basket weave motif. Square skirts with eighteen Conchos on each side. Fenders have a row of 3/4" studs. Saddle has both front and rear rigging Dees. Four tie down straps per side with Conchos. Wood and brass Oxbow stirrups. High cantle with a slick fork. CONDITION: Saddle shows moderate wear for its age. There is some checking in some of the leather. Missing the wool underside. Straps have been replaced. REW
