A) Prewar, 1940 vintage Model 42, serial number 40334. Field grade with plain 28-inch barrel, .410 gauge, full choke, 3-inch chamber. Plain straight grain pistol grip stock and grooved forearm. CONDITION: Completely refinished with 95% reapplied blue remaining. Wood shows little wear. Bore is bright. Action is tight and crisp. B) Prewar, 1915 vintage Model 12, serial number 99869. Field grade with 26-inch solid rib barrel, chambered in 16-gauge, modified choke. Plain straight grain walnut, pistol grip stock and grooved forearm. CONDITION: Very fine with 95% original blue on barrel. 25% original blue on receiver blending with grey patina. Wood is sound showing modest wear. Bore is bright. Action is tight and crisp. -MKS-
