Manufactured by Dunlap & Co. N.Y. and sold by Goldsmith & Co. Butte, Montana. These were the style of beaver felt hats that were all the rage in Europe. Comes with a letter that states that it came off of the Pine Ridge Reservation from the American Horse family. It is dated July 8, 2010. We can not prove nor disprove the validity of this letter. CONDITION: Hat is very clean with some staining to the inside liner. REW
