Lot consists of (A) Remington Rand slide with square notch beveled rear sight, serrated slope front sight, two line Remington Rand address on left side of slide. Barrel with ".45 AUTO / 7791193 / 84" on top of chamber, "M" on right side of lug, "P" on left side of lug. Essex frame with commander style hammer, ambidextrous high ride safeties, Pachmayr grips, short serrated trigger, serrated mainspring housing, front strap with applied strip of skateboard tape, extended slide release. Grip safety is oversized but operates appropriately. "COLT / 45 AUTO" magazine with three rivets. CONDITION: Very good as used and custom built. Silvering and high edge wear commensurate with extensive use, slide has some additional areas of bumps and bruises from handling and operation. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with strong rifling. (B) Ranger Machine and Tool made aluminum frame 1911A1. Colt Conversion unit slide for firing .22 LR with floating chamber, fixed smooth front sight, fully adjustable rear sight. Short serrated trigger, classically styled hammer, mainspring housing with added section of polymer knurling, Pachmayr wraparound grips. Colt .22 magazine with straight cut and added baseplate. Grip safety is oversized but functional. CONDITION: Good as used. Aluminum frame with some areas of age related staining, grip safety has largely flaked to brown. Slide is very good with sharp legends and only a few indicators of use. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent. EW
