Luftwaffe 1st model dagger with a "P.D. LUNESCHLOSS, SOLINGEN" marked polished nickel plated blade in very good condition, with moderate runner marks and very light freckling. Two quarter inch areas of freckling where removed near the tang and have damaged the blade. The nickel plated brass fittings have a very heavy patina with numerous cracks on the cross guard. Blue leather wire-wrapped grip is very good with 25% damage to the finish. Blue leather covered scabbard retains 65-70% of its blue finish. Nickel plated steel fittings exhibit heavy wear and patina. Aluminum chain and clip have heavy patina, and clip is marked "OLC". CONDITION: Overall very good. WZ
