Waffen SS officer visor cap made in a quality Feldgrau "Doeskin" wool with approximately a dozen moth nips and spots of tracking with light soiling. The black tricot wool center band appears to be undamaged, and the red wool piping exhibits light aging. Both the SS eagle and "Totenkopf" are reproductions. Silver bullion chin cord and buttons appear undamaged. The black vulkanfibre visor has a light to moderate level of light cracks, and green crosshatch pattern underside only exhibits very light wear and aging. The interior is fully lined in a tan rayon with moderate to heavy staining. The head liner has an illegible pair of stampings, and the celluloid sweatshield is missing. The gray leather sweatband is darkened due to staining. CONDITION: Very good to excellent overall. WZ
