MAnufactured 1893. Winchester model 1886 rifle with 26 inch octagon barrel chambered for 45-70 Gov't cartridge. Full magazine with walnut stocks with crescent butt. Elevator adjustable rear sight with drift adjustable blade front sight. CONDITION. Good as restored. The barrel has been bored out to 45 cal and the caliber markings restamped original caliber is unknown. The walnut stocks have been refinished, forearm has a minor crack on right side. Butt stock has a minor crack at toe and a filled sling swivel hole at toe. Barrel and magazine retain only traces of original blue with refinish visible on barrel and receiver is almost totally silver with shadows of colors in protected areas. Action operates properly and Bore is very good with sharp rifling. tdw
