Manufactured by Mauser in 1942. The receiver is marked "42" over the chamber with Mauser eagle over "135" waffenamts and a parteiadler on the right side. Matching numbers include the frame, locking bolt, trigger sideplate, trigger, safety catch, safety bar, hold open latch, receiver, barrel, trigger bar, breechblock, firing pin, extractor, and toggles. Checkered walnut grips are unmarked. Metal components have been nicely restored with only a few proof marks being softened. Complete with a "gxy/41" (Gebr. Klinge) and eagle over "WaA706" marked leather holster and one unnumbered "fxo" marked black bottom magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain most of their reapplied blue finish, with areas of high edge wear and an area of wear on the left side of the muzzle that is showing through to silvering. Bore is bright, showing some light frosting, but retaining good rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips are good, showing some smoothing to the checkering and a small chip near the safety catch on the left grip panel. Leather holster is good, showing marks from handling and storage, but retains easily legible markings. MLW
