Lot consists of: (A) Winchester 1903 semi-automatic rifle. Made in 1908. Barrel has been shortened 1 - 1/2", re crowned and a new front sight added. Original rear leaf sight is present. Originally blued finish has become a dull patina. Traditional oil finished wood stock with a cupped buttplate. Receiver has been drilled for a scope mount. Trigger guard and receiver match. CONDITION: Metal retains little to none of its original finish, creating a nice patina with a few minor handling marks. Buttstock has a large gouge on the top (where the butt plate and stock meet). Handgaurd has numerous cracks on both sides, which is common with these rifles. Sharp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. (B) National Ordnance M1 Carbine semi-automatic rifle. Made in the 1970s and 80s by Federal Ordance of El Monte California. Typically built on a handful of USGI surplus parts, this rifle only seems to have a an Inland trigger group. All other parts appear to be aftermarket, being either produced by Federal Ordnance or other manufactures. Round steel barrel with a fixed front post and an adjustable rear sight. Military parkerized finish with an aftermarket hardwood stock and metal trigger guard. Added cross bolt safety is broken, causing the trigger to malfunction and not fire. Comes with one un-marked 15 round M1 Carbine magazine and an un-marked web sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with mild wear and handling marks. Stock is excellent with a few light scratches. Strong rifling in the bore. Mechanically poor, as the safety bolt is broken causing the trigger to malfunction and not fire. Magazine and sling are very good. (C) Winchester Model 63 semi-automatic rifle. Made in 1942 with a standard round, steel barrel. Original front post, with an added rear Redfield peep sight. Standard leaf sight is missing. Oil finished hard wood stock with a checkerd forearm and pistol grip. Original blued finish. Receiver and trigger group match. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with mild wear and handling marks. There are two cracks on the left side of the wrist, on the buttstock. Otherwise the stock is very good with mild wear and handling marks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. (D) Kokura Arsenal Japanese Type 38 bolt action rifle. Rifle has been sporterized, with the barrel being cut down to approximately 23 - 7/8". A Bishop "monte carlo" style stock has also been added. Metal has been re-blued. Mum is intact. Bolt body matches the receiver. Extractor, firing pin, safety knob and bolt release are mismatched. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its finish with mild wear. Stock is excellent with minor scratches. Bore is frosted with fair rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
