Lot consists of three Japanese Type 99 bolt action rifles. (A) Type 99 manufactured by Kokura. Chrysanthemum is intact. Series stamp is partially obliterated and indiscernible. No matching numbers. Complete with the cleaning rod and rear aircraft sight with wings. CONDITION: Metal components retain most of their arsenal applied blue finish, showing areas of corrosion and cleaned pitting all around. Good bore with good rifling throughout. Stock shows many scattered handling marks. (B) Series 30 Type 99 manufactured by Toyo Kogyo. Chrysanthemum is intact. No matching numbers. Rear aircraft sight retains it's wings. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their arsenal applied blue finish, showing areas of wear and areas of corrosion all around. Good bore with good rifling throughout. Stock shows scattered handling marks. (C) Series 35 Type 99 Long Rifle manufactured by Toyo Kogyo. Chrysanthemum has been ground off. No matching numbers. CONDITION: Metal components retain a good amount of their arsenal applied blue finish, showing areas of wear and corrosion all around. Bright bore with good rifling throughout. Stock shows scattered indentations from handling and use. MLW
