Lot consists of three Siamese and Japanese bolt action rifles. (A) Siamese Type 46/66. Thai Chakram symbol is present on receiver above Thai script. Rear sight ladder shows conversion to spitzer ammunition, indicated by the ground down sight ramp. Complete with dust cover and Siamese bayonet. CONDITION: Metal components show corrosion all around. Bore is dark and retains fair rifling throughout. Stock shows scattered handling marks. (B) Type 38 rifle manufactured by Mukden Arsenal. Receiver retains a partially defaced chrysanthemum. Receiver matches bayonet lug and the bolt matches itself. Complete with a hooked quillion Type 30 sword bayonet manufactured by Mukden with scabbard and frog. CONDITION: Metal components show wear to finish all around with areas of scattered corrosion. Bore is bright and retains good rifling throughout. Stock shows small scattered handling marks all around. Mukden bayonet is very good. (C) Type 99 trainer rifle. No markings over chamber and no manufacturer markings are present on the receiver. Japanese training school stamp along with a painted "40" on the buttstock. Receiver, bolt, and bayonet lug match. Complete with training school Type 30 bayonet. CONDITION: Metal components shows corrosion all around. Smoothbore is fair. Stock shows few scattered handling marks. Overall, a nice lot of Asian military rifles. MLW
