A) Cutlery handled, double edge spear point knife, blade marked on the ricasso "Marsh Bros Pond Works Sheffield" measuring 11-7/8" overall with a 7" blade. German silver guard and handle. Embossed leather sheath with German silver mounts. CONDITION: Blade retains much of its original luster mixed with minor surface roughness. Sheath missing its stud and shows wear to the black finish. B) Bone handle, clipped point knife measuring 15-1/2" overall with an unmarked 10-1/2" blade. Brass cross guard, lead pommel. CONDITION: Sharpened blade very good with minor surface roughness, handle with a number of repaired cracks. C) Double edge spear point knife measuring 15" overall with a 10-1/8" blade, oak handle retained by three copper rivets, iron cross guard. Tin scabbard, crudely constructed, wide solder lines. CONDITION: Very good, the blade mostly grey with minor dark patches. Scabbard is dark with areas of minor surface rust. D) Confederate D-Guard bowie knife, 18 1/4" overall with a 13 1/2" double edge blade. CONDITION: Semi relic condition with dark surface and areas of heavy pitting. E) Clipped point bowie knife measuring 18-1/4" overall with a 13-1/2" blade, brass cross guard, one-piece wood grip. CONDITION: Blade is dark with areas of pitting, grip showing some tight cracks. F) Clipped point bowie knife measuring 19-1/4" overall with a 13-1/4" curved blade, copper cross guard, bone handle held fast with two copper rivets, iron pommel. CONDITION: Blade surface is mostly grey with dark patches and minor surface rust. Bone handle very good with minor wear. G) .577 caliber British Enfield bayonet, missing its locking ring. CONDITION: Surface displays heavy rust. DG
