Pistols in identical configuration with unsigned octagonal barrel, front sight dovetailed in horizontally on bead, rear sight on tang. Patent breeches. Case color hardened locks stepped at rear, case colored hammers. Fluted grips with urn finials. Forearm extensively carved with florals. Set triggers, trigger guards with spur. Barrels retained by a single key. Housed in a darkwood case with numerous accessories comprising a 2 piece lead pour, oil bottle, pricker, combination brush, loading mallet, bullet mold with sprue cutter, combination screwdriver and nipple wrench, cleaning tips, and screwdriver handle, cleaning rod, and two jars filled with caps and balls and an extra set of front and rear sights. One handle is missing, possibly an extra handle for the nipple wrench. CONDITION: Very good as untampered with. Barrels retain extensive amounts of their high polish blue finish with some old rubs and inactive oxidation spotting. Wood is very good and full sized with a few rubs but no discernible cracks. Trigger guard finial of pistol (A) is starting to lift out of the wood and needs attention. Barrel keys with some old oxidation. Case colors largely have faded. Actions work appropriately when gently operated by hand, bores are very good with strong rifling. Accessories are very good with some age related staining throughout. One jar possibly a replacement as it appears to be a lighter wood that was painted to match. Screw driver has a chip out of blade. Case is fair to good with some lifting of brass wire accents and some chips missing. EW
