Tapered U notch beveled rear sight, half moon front sight. Two line two block patent on left side of slide with rampant Colt at rear. Firing pin retaining plate with "H" on top of lip, inside of plate with "2H". Long curved trigger, serrated slide release, checkered left side safety, checkered magazine release, short 1911 safety, checkered spurred hammer, smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Frame with what looks like "501" on left side, under scratches, right side with serial number, void of other proofs. Full blue magazine with no stamps on lip, baseplate with "COLT / 45 AUTO". Housed in a Bianchi A5 holster. CONDITION: Pistol retains most blue finish with several significant areas of silvering and oxidation on slide, around slide stop hole in frame, dust cover, and generally scattered about. Magazine release retaining screw heavily molested. Grips missing a chip out of left scale and heavily worn. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore with visible rifling and heavy frosting. Holster is fine with normal marks from use. EW
