Lot consists of: (A) Frank Wesson medium frame pocket rifle made by Frank Wesson of Worcester, Massachusetts between 1870 and 1875. Blued octagon swing out single shot barrel with notch rear sight and globe front. Nickel plated receiver with spur trigger and rosewood grips. CONDITION: Blue turning plum with shootable bore. 20% nickel with balance flaking. 10% original varnish. Good mechanics. (B) "Depose" French made animal trap with cast iron fold out cannon barrel taking a 12 gauge shotgun shell. Board mounting system with rope trigger mechanism. CONDITION: Good with original finish with some light pitting. Good mechanics. Interesting piece of trapping memorabilia. DLM
