Lot consists of (A) Webley RIC revolver with half moon front sight, P Webley and Sons rollmark over cylinder strap, Winged Bullet and RIC logo with serial number on left side of frame. Checkered walnut grips with rotatable lanyard ring at butt. CONDITION: Metal is an even gunmetal grey mixing with flashes of brown and patina. There are a few flashes of blue in protected areas and some pitting scattered about. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore has strong rifling with frosting throughout. (B) A contemporary copy of a Webley Bulldog pistol, likely manufactured by Belgium given the Belgian proofs on the cylinder and lack of British proofing on frame (Small DF in a lozenge and '* / L' on right side of frame". Cylinder marked .44. Top strap with "THE BRITISH BULL DOG". Checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Gun is essentially even dove grey mixing with old inactive oxidation. Grips are very good, checkering smoothed out somewhat as a result of time. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with even oxidation throughout. EW
