Marlin Model 1894 with special ordered 24-inch half octagon to round barrel. Chambered in .25-20 Take-down frame. Blue with case hardened frame, hammer and lever. Mounted with a Lyman 438-Field fixed 4-power scope. Plain, straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Carbine style steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine with 50% tinning original blue blending with brown patina on barrel and magazine tube. Frame, lever, and buttplate are a dove grey patina. Wood is solid showing moderate wear. Bore is excellent with modest abrasion. Action is tight. Optics are clear. -MKS-
