Marlin Model 1893 semi-deluxe rifle. Special ordered half octagon to round 24" barrel with 2/3rd length magazine tube. Takedown frame. Chambered in scarce .25-36 Marlin cartridge. Select grain checkered, pistol grip stock and forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine with 75-80% original blue on barrel. Frame is a dove grey patina. Wood is near fine showing modest wear with exception of a repaired fracture at the wrist. Checkering shows heavy wear. 1/4" x 1/2" chip at heel of stock. Buttplate is refinished. -MKS-
