1884 vintage Marlin Model 1881 lever action rifle serial number 8756. 28" octagon barrel chambered in .40-60 Marlin with full length magazine tube, standard rear sight, and brass blade front that was filed down in the "express" style. Two piece plain walnut stock and forearm with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate.
