1891 vintage Winchester Model 1873 3 band musket, serial number 367716 B. 30" round barrel with square base, front blade sight and military style fold down rear ladder sight. Straight grain walnut full length forearm, and stock with carbine style steel buttplate with trapdoor. Sling provisions mounted to middle forearm band and stock. CONDITION: Very good with an overall blue/brown patina and areas of cold blue added. Wood shows moderate to heavy use, has been lightly sanded with gouges on right side of stock and on both lengths of the forearm. Bore has good rifling with areas of moderate abrasion. Action is tight and crisp. -MKS-
