Winchester Model 1886 .50 Express lever action rifle made in 1911. Blued round barrel with full magazine, pedestal sight with brass bead, 22G rear sight with added copper sight window and barrel marked ".50 EX". Blued receiver with plain trigger. Plain walnut buttstock with blued steel crescent buttplate. Walnut plain forearm. Comes with factory research letter. CONDITION: 40% blue with gun turning to a grey patina. Dent in magazine tube near muzzle. Buttstock has traces of original finish with a repaired crack behind, that stretches along comb for 4" and a plugged sling swivel hole. Tang has what looks to be glue around edges. Forearm has been cleaned with no cracks or breaks. Nose cap has two non-original screws. Shootable bore with visible rifling. Good mechanics. Would make excellent shooter or restoration project. DLM
