Features include round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, and V notch rear sight on rear link. Thumb safety marked "RUST" with an arrow pointing upwards, extractor marked "GELADEN" on both sides, and front toggle link marked "VICKERS LTD". Wood checkered grips that have the full serial number on them with a wide grip safety. This is an all matching numbers gun. Delivered in 1922 to the 2nd Garrison Battalion on the west coast of Sumatra. Brass plaque on left side of the frame is unit marked "1-II Sum. W. 10". Correct crown "V" proofs on breach block, front toggle link, rear toggle link and underside of barrel. Crown "W" proof on left side of the receiver. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 90% of the arsenal applied blue finish and 60% of the straw color small parts. Fair bore showing some frosting in the lands and grooves. Grips show normal wear to the checkering with no chips or cracks. It comes with a rare and mint M11 russet brown leather holster. Marked on the top flap "CW N 4 39". The closing strap and the pin punch strap are missing. Also included in the holster is an Indies Army brass cleaning rod with oiler and a loading tool. The magazine is a Dutch type magazine with a spring base retaining catch with reinforcing pins added. A very rare and desirable Luger with an original Dutch holster. REW
